K Filter Soakup TM series activated carbon canister filters are used to adsorb hydrocarbon contaminates from liquid stream and other impurities form hydrocarbons and other impurities from amine and glycol process fluids for the preventing of foaming and reduction of corrosion, the impurities are removed as they come into contact with the activated carbon particles. our range of activated carbons are 100% virgin granular with high density.
High CTC value (60-80% ) or even higher large micropore volume and high surface area, pore structure especially mesopore and macropores its suitable for adsorbing large molecules or heavy hydrocarbon, such as a condensate oil and C5+hydrocarbon. Commonly used in amine and glycol systems, where liquid or heavy hydrocarbons are often present.
