Soakup Carbon Canister
K Filter Soakup Carbon Canister Filter Series (Soakup TM ) an activated carbon canister filters, used to adsorb hydrocarbon contaminants from liquid streams and other impurities from hydrocarbons and other impurities from amine and glycol process fluids for the prevention of foaming and reduction of corrosion. The impurities are removed as they come into contact with the activated carbon particles. Our range of activated carbons are 100% virgin granular with high density.
High CTC value (60-80%) or even higher, large micropore volume and high surface area, and pore structure, especially mesopores and macropores, make it suitable for adsorbing large molecules or heavy hydrocarbons, such as condensate oil and C5+hydrocarbons. Commonly used in amine and glycol systems, where liquid or heavy hydrocarbons are often present.
